Fee & Insurance Information
for Psychological Testing
Insurance
I do not participate in any insurance plans, but you may be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance company by using your out-of-network benefits. I can provide receipts for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You can also use your Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), or Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) to pay for the cost of testing.

Investment
While testing is an investment of time and money, the costs of addressing the wrong problems or pursuing the wrong treatments are even higher. By obtaining a correct diagnosis and the right treatment plan, you will know what you or your child really needs, allowing you to focus your efforts and achieve results faster.
For young children, receiving a proper diagnosis early means they are more likely to reach their potential and less likely to struggle with frustration and self-doubt.

Benefits of Out-of-Network Psychological Testing
More Comprehensive and Personalized Evaluations
Insurance companies set limits on psychological testing, including limiting the amount of time that a psychologist can spend with each client. These limits might not match your needs. Out-of-network psychologists can:
-
Spend more time understanding your unique needs and tailoring the assessment to you.
-
Use a wider range of tests to provide a more thorough understanding of your strengths and challenges.
-
Provide recommendations and strategies that are more tailored to your specific needs.
More Privacy
By choosing out-of-network services, you have more control over who sees your information.
Faster Results
Out-of-network psychologists often have more flexibility in scheduling appointments. This can mean less waiting time and more convenient appointment options for you.
